The Local Committee in Uppsala was established in 1971 and has been developing leadership in youth ever since. Currently, the committee has four functional areas; Business to Business operations, Business to Customers operations, People Management, and Finance.
The Business to Customer area is working with developing leadership in youth by sending them abroad on internships or volunteering-projects. For the summer of 2017, the team will focus especially on contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals 4, 13 and 16.
The Business to Business area’s main task is to create connections to local companies and organizations, with the purpose of creating internship-opportunities here in Sweden.
The task of the People Management is to develop the members of AIESEC in Uppsala, and in this way, support the exchange operations of the organization. They make sure every member has a meaningful and enjoyable experience in the organization.
The purpose of the Finance function is to ensure the organization’s growth and development, and to create a sustainable environment for it to thrive.
