AIESEC in Gothenburg is one of the oldest local committees in Sweden. Currently, we have four functions namely Business to Business, Business to Customer, People Management and Finance. Each function has a Vice President as main responsible for the function, besides them there are also members who help the organization to move forward. Together the executive board takes great responsibilities and drives the whole entity. As our PM Ana put it; “it is like your own start-up what better practical experience for your future life and career than that?”.
The Business to Business function’s main task is to establish relationships with companies and organizations in the Gothenburg area with the main objective to create internships opportunities.
The Business to Customer function is working with developing leadership in youth by sending them abroad on internships or volunteering-projects, and to ensure that all experiences are fulfilling all the standards and satisfaction of AIESEC. Besides this, the Business to Customer function is also responsible for marketing and communication.
The People Management function are responsible for developing the members of AIESEC in Gothenburg. They make sure every member has a meaningful and enjoyable experience in the organization.
Lastly, the Finance functions main task is to ensure the organization’s growth and development, and to create a sustainable environment for it to thrive.
Before you leave, did you know that one of our former local committee president was Jan Kenneth Eliasson, the former Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations! With us you travel in good company. Do you want to know more? Find our emails below and send us a mail!
